My husband and I traveled to London in October 1997. Mike went sightseeing while I worked (sob). We stayed a few extra days, though, so I did get to take in a few sights.
Favorite Things: The Royal Gardens at Kew; the gift shop at the Royal Gardens at Kew; Buckingham Palace; the Crown Jewels; gorgeous architecture; sitting next to Jimi Hendrix's guitar in the Hard Rock Cafe; the "tube".
Least Favorite Things: Apathetic service; high prices; crossing the street; steak and kidney pie.
